The idea behind El Golgota Church AG is to enhance the lives of our community families.
For more than 80 years, El Golgota AG has worked with families and youth to develop their character, help them assume greater responsibility, and instill a sense of community in their lives.
Youth
Men
This ministry targets youth ages middle and high school ages and is headed by Jocelyn Balderas.
Their Focus is to lead them in their growth as a whole (mental, moral, social, educational, and spiritual). They meet on Wednesday nighst at 7 pm. Among others the youth areas of activities are: Bible studies, Dramas, Music, Mission events (trips, STL events, AIM, etc), conventions, summer events, Winter Camps, summer sports and other activities.
Women
This ministry is headed by Sister Mayra Garcia. Their goal is to minister to every woman according to her need, and to help each woman find her personal place in life. In this ministry they bind together in prayer support, they are dedicated to spreading the gospel and the love of Jesus Christ. Their ministrie statement of purpose is Reaching, Disciple, Building, Providing, and Training. They meet every Wednesday in the adult Bible study. Once a month they hold a "joy-fellowship" for a time of testimonies, praise, Intercession, and bible study.
This ministry is currently headed by Brother Jorge Ocampo. The goal is to grow Godly men who honor Christ , are baptized in the holy spirit, engaged in evangelism and discipleship, and support the local church. The vision is to Reach every possible family, one man at a time. Bible study is available every Wednesday night. They hold monthly prayer meetings and a monthly home meeting for a time of testimonies, fellowship and bible study. Every last Saturday of the month they hold a time of felloship, testimonies, praise, intercession and bible study.
Missionettes
Royal Rangers
This is a ministry geared to girls ages 5 - 17. They are encourage to participate in civics, bible studies, camps and social services to the community. The ministry is coordinated by Mrs. Lourdes Balderas. She is assisted by a team of Ladies called sponsors. They meet every Wednesday night at 7 PM.
This ministry targets boys ages 5 to 17. They are encourage to participate in civics, bible studies, camps and social services to the community. They Meet every Wednesday night at 7PM and is headed by Commander Roberto (Bobby) Alcala.
